Five Things To Know Before Getting Cat

There are two types of people, those who love cats and those who prefer the man’s loyal friend, dogs, and for me, as a cat lover, I always wondered if the cats have some special things and facts rather than being so cute and playable.

Here are some facts you have to know about the friendly lions before you get one:

#1 Owning a cat is healthy:

*owning a cat can cut the dangers of having a stroke into two thirds:

We all agree on the fact that strokes are mainly caused by the malfunction of organs due to blood pressure and stress or sometimes unhealthy behaviors such as smoking, fatty food or lack of sleep.

*stress and anxiety can be lowered by having someone to talk to even if they don’t reply:

Owning a cat will provide you with a cute fluffy friend to talk to, also the purring of cats goes on a low frequency that helps your nerves relax and get your brain to release the neurotransmitters responsible of happiness and relaxations.

So go watch some cats videos and realease some dopamine.

#2 From my own experience, cats are to be very dirty in their first two months:

Since cats as pets probably don’t have their mother around if you don’t already own a cat that gave birth to them, when they are so little they are so dirty and my fill the house with their waste, leaving behind bad smells and messy environment , so any advice to come is to be patient with them until they learn how to use the dirt to bury their waste, or to stay close most of the time so you can get them to the toilet every time they look like doing something until they get used to the smell and start going their by their own

“note: we are not the only creatures who learn to use the restroom”

#3 Cats can die From Human’s Most Favorite Food:

Chocolate is everyone ’s favorite dessert but not cats, as it contains Theobromine*, chocolate can be lethal to cats and may cause the death slowly as having small doses of poison every time they eat it, you can assume that cats don’t’ like sweets a lot as they love having salty stuff.

* Theobromine, formerly known as xantheose, is a bitter alkaloid of the cacao plant, with the chemical formula C7H8N4O2. It is found in chocolate, as well as in a number of other foods, including the leaves of the tea plant, and the kola nut.

#4 Cat’s sleep two-thirds of the day:

Cats do really dream, and they sleep up to 16 hours a day, play for four hours and eat anything that comes in their way, So funny so true.

#5 Cats will try to make a hunter out of you:

Us humans always tend to teach our beloved once the skills and values we think are good in us, also cats, they tend to teach their owners how to hunt, so what you think is playing or having fun maybe your cat trying to teach you how to hunt and get some food.
